My go to recipe since I began cooking in the early 60's, the flavor is unbeatable. It is the best Chocolate Cake recipe ever and easy to make. My grandmother taught it to me but she got it out of the Good Housekeeping Magazine in the 20's or 30's
Magic Cake recipe - "You really only have to make the batter which is very thin... pour the batter in an 8 inch x 8 inch baking dish, place it in the oven and let the magic happen. After an hour you have a perfect 3 layer cake with the most delicious custard layer."
