Capalbo’s basket did well in the quantity department but the quality didn’t impress us. They had a nice variety of fruit: red grapefruit, papaya, pear, mango, kiwi and apples yet the quality of the fruit itself was lacking. The cookies, all Italian, had a long shelf life but lacked the homemade chewy texture that recipients will remember. These are the kind of cookies you put in a jar and they last for a few weeks. The Chianti was nicely packaged and imported from Italy.
