12/18/2015 San Alfonso del Mar Algarrobo, Chile 33°21′S 71°39.2′W The swimming pool at the San Alfonso del Mar Resort in Algarrobo, Chile is the largest in the world. The pool is more than one thousand meters long (3,323 ft) and contains approximately 250 million liters (66 million gallons) of water! The resort pays $4 million dollars each year to maintain the pool.
