Choices by Shawn. This hidden gem is located in the heart of downtown Fairfax, VA, across the street from Potbelly. Featuring great quality menu items at reasonable prices. Enjoy a warm summer night on the wrap around porch or pop inside and enjoy some local wine at the new wine bar. I was surprised that more people don't know about Choices- I highly recommend it. Also offers many gluten free options.

The Majestic has been a neighborhood haunt in Old Town Alexandria since 1932 and remains so today under the guiding hand of restaurateurs Cathal and Meshelle Armstrong. It's still got the neon Art Deco sign of days past and the menu is a throwback, too: they have fried green tomatoes!! :)

I've visited this restaurant twice. The food is excellent. It's more a Spanish-Mexican mix. I particularly like the modern atmosphere. I love the decor even the bathroom has an elegant feel. The service is excellent.
