get a black and white photo, remove all grays in photoshop,  trace image onto paper, with masking fluid cover all the white. When fluid is dry, paint the rest as you please. Let paint dry then remove masking fluid and voila a beautiful portrait appears!

Block Prints - inspired by Pop 50s. Many ways to get hi contrast, but I did it w/ Photoshop CS5: 1. Take in well-lit & take all in same. Will make next steps efficient. 2. Desaturate to change image to B 3. Under “Image,” select “Adjustments” & scroll down to “Posterize…” 4. Play with the levels using Posterize option… 2 or 3 worked for me *I created an Action in Photoshop - made the process quicker. I will try to edit using Adobe Bridge bc it is more efficient for batch editing.
