Today in history. On Monday morning, August 6th 1945, 8:16AM Japan time, the first atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan by USA from B-29 Bomber, codename "Enola Gay". The bomb itself, called "Little Boy". Around 80000 civilian died on bomb impact, 60000 more in the following months from the radiation and fallout. This is the first time an atomic weapon used in warfare.
