Before tree cut back

My family, I found a cute mod podge project and made it my own. It is super easy and fun to make. Trace and cut out the hands. Paint the canvas with mod podge. Place a hand on the canvas and paint a layer of mod podge over it. When your done apply another layer over the entire canvas to make sure the paper hands are sealed and stick to the canvas. Let it sit for 24 hours to dry.

I incorporated a glittery cone tree atop my #Christmas mantel. To make your own grab some cardstock and create a few cone templates in different sizes. Reuse your templates to cut matching shapes from fabric or sparkly scrapbook paper and glue those on top of your cones. Wrap the shapes and glue in place to form a 3-D shape. Finish off by adding trim embellishments and cluster some on your mantel. You can cheat and buy styrofoam cones but what fun is that? #mantelmonday #christmastree…

Wooden Table with Chairs www.teeliesfairygarden.com . . . This wooden table with chairs set is another great invention from the Carpenter Fairies workshop. Due to the size of the trees that the carpenter fairies are using, they are able to make hundreds of these from one tree. Fairy magic and woodland creatures help them to cut down the trees safely, and they always make sure to plant new ones in their place because the fairies want to enjoy the woods for thousands of years to come…

These adorable Snowman Christmas ornaments are currently looking for a new home. Not only would they be cute hanging on your tree, but they could be used as name cards and placed at each place setting. You can use a sharpie to write names on her hat rim or I can do a custom order for you and it will be permanent. They also make a great gift for that snowman collector you might know. They are my own design and were hand cut and hand painted in my studio. His eyes and mouth were painted with…

To make your own cookie shapes, draw a simple Christmas-tree or ornament shape onto a manila folder, and cut it out. Place the cutout on rolled-out cookie dough, and cut around it with the tip of a paring knife. Alternatively, you can cut out cookies with cookie cutters (wide shapes work best). Use the knife tip to cut out the centers of the cookies.

I am using this picture of a christmas tree quilt to make my own pattern using 5x5 squares. I have made four quilts already and have fabric cut and bagged for 6 more.

Start by cutting around 50 lengths of wire, and begin wrapping the edges of a few pieces of wire around the base of a candle to form a spiral that will hold the candle in place. Make as many spirals as you like depending on how many candles you would like your tree to hold. Twist the remaining pieces of wire together to form tree branches, and then wrap all the wires together to form your tree trunk leaving around three or four inches at the end to make the tree roots.
