India - Etihad. My flights to and from India were with Etihad with their Pearl Business Class. On the long legs (14 hours) between Toronto to their hub in Abu Dhabi, I was able to catch up on some much needed shut-eye in my individual pod which featured a comfortable lie-flat bed/seat. In-flight service was the perfect mix of attentive but unobtrusive. The food and wine choices were superb. And the Etihad Business Lounge in Abu Dhabi is a glittering haven in this futuristic airport.
India - Hotels. Le Meridien, Delhi. This is an excellent hotel to use a s a base in Delhi. Most of the major sights are close by and its mix of International and Indian ambience provides a gentle introduction into the rigours of travelling in India.
