The Farley Building is a 126-foot-tall, 9 story building in Downtown Birmingham located on the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and 20th Street North.  Built in 1909, the building was the fourth steel-frame "skyscraper" erected in Birmingham.

Old Kress store

I remember the Kress Store in Ft. Smith, AR what a wonderful, exciting experience this was for a small town girl who only went to the "big city" about twice a year.

Alabama Theater in downtown B'ham. So many memories from singing along with the red organ to movie marathons in this historic theater! What a beautiful place to be.
