The Railway Man (2013)

The Railway Man (based on the book The Railway Man: A POW’s Searing Account of War, Brutality and Forgiveness by Eric Lomax, W.W. Norton)

I usually can't deal with horror movies, but this one is amazing. It's definitely more suspense than horror, and you'll NEVER guess the ending (well, I didn't. ;) )

The Railway Man is an autobiographical book by Eric Lomax about his experiences as a prisoner of war during World War II and being forced to help build the Burma Railway for the Japanese military. The book won the NCR Book Award and the PEN/Ackerley Prize for autobiography.
