Nia Long:"Actress Audiences first fell in love with Long when she appeared in director John Singleton’s 1991 breakthrough Boyz in the Hood. After appearing in the daytime drama Guiding Light, she became a bonafide TV star with roles on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the drama Third Watch. Her standout performances in the films Friday, Soul Food, Love Jones, and The Best Man have made her a mainstay of black Hollywood. Born in Brooklyn, she now lives in Los Angeles with her son."
Cruella de Vil's character was partially based on actress Tallulah Bankhead, 1940s Hollywood bad girl (left and right), while a preliminary study of Madame Medusa used Cruella de Vil as the base body type (center).
Point Break, what a film. Swayze actually skydived for his scenes, jumping 55 times in the making of this movie. This weekend we went to Indian Beach and yelled "Boooohhhdddiii!!!" at the waves. R.I.P. Swayze. Wish you'd made about 100 more movies.
