British author sells million copies of colouring-in book for adults

"Talented U. illustrator, Johanna Basford, has created a series of enchanting coloring books for adults - which have now sold over a million copies.

The late Polish artist Roman Opakka's numerical paintings. Opałka began his famed work by hand-painting a consecutive series of integers, starting with "1" on the uppermost left-hand corner of the canvas, in 1965. He proceeded to produce canvases filled with the progression of numbers continuously following the previous batch. The final number was 5,607,249.
