Truffula tree cupcakes! For dr. Seuss day :) directions: make cupcakes, decorate with green frosting... For the stems use paper swirly straws or pixie sticks (however you are brining these to a classroom use the straws because pixie sticks are way tooooo much sugar) and top with about a handful of compressed cotton candy (I use the bag of premade cotton candy from shoprite)

Things 1&2 hanging out on our tree in the classroom! The kids colored the large popsicle sticks red and the cotton balls blue. Then they glued on the blue cotton balls for hair and a few eyes! The tree is currently bare because it is winter :)

When learning about insect body parts, I use 2 donut holes and small muffin for body parts. Twizzlers for 6 legs and 2 antennas and and any candy for eyes.....kids love it!
