Jon Crispin, has been documenting suitcases, along with their contents, that belonged to patients admitted to a psychiatric centre in Willard, NY between 1910 and the 1960s. Unfortunately, because it was a centre for people with chronic mental health problems, the patients never left, and so these suitcases were stored away and forgotten about, until rediscovered in 1995.
