Antique Ceylon Sapphire and Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement RIng
A stunning natural 3/4 carat Ceylon sapphire rests among sparkly old mine cut diamonds. Beautiful! Ceylon sapphires have a gorgeous light blue color that really pops! Because of their beautiful light blue color, they are probably the most sought after sapphire gemstone. This style of ring was very popular in the late VIctorian Era....and has made a big comeback in recent times, and I can see why! THe white diamonds frame the sapphire so beautifully! Circa 1890s Ring Size - 8.25 - sizable at your local jeweler Gold tested between the 12-14K gold range - guaranteed. CONDITION: The sapphire was re-set at one point and does not directly rest in the center of the ring- it's a little off center- see pics. The sapphire and diamonds are all original, but there has been some repairs to the prongs. There is some oxidation on the band (where gold turns dark over the years) - it can be polished away if desired. See pics as they are a part of the description. Please look at ring on my hand.
