Library of prolific reader and writer, Alberto Manguel (who has written “The Library at Night” and other works about libraries). His library, housed in a fifteenth-century French stone barn, houses more than 30,000 books.
The "Lao Tzu library" from Poona, India. The owner stated that two books of the same size or color were not to be placed next to each other...creating waves going up and down, adding a lighter impression of the packed shelves that are usually seen in libraries. Love it!
Sit here, listen to nature's voices through those gorgeous French doors, sip on a glass of Chardonnay, feast your eyes on your favorite pages of that book you've been wanting to read forever and enjoy this lovely room.
