Touching Heaven was so beautiful and touching and left me feeling I had touched a little bit of heaven by the time I finished reading it. Leanne Hadley really has a way with words and speaking to the heart of the matter without holding back emotion. This is a collection of Hadley’s real life experiences with children near death in her time serving as a Chaplain for children. I was amazed by these stories and by the compassion and love she had for these children.

I have really mixed emotions about On Distant Shores because I had such a hard time getting into it that I almost didn’t continue reading after the first few chapters. However, I stuck with it so I could write an honest, complete review and ended up getting completely immersed in this story!

I became a fan of Nancy Mehl after reading Unbreakable earlier this year so I was ready for her next suspenseful story in Unforeseeable. I really admire her ability to combine romance and mystery so effortlessly that it makes it seem more like real life.
