Sunflowers, bicycles, Tour de France - Eleanor Grosch

The Art of Cycling

Hallmark of numerous stages of Le Tour de France - cyclists passing fields upon fields of vibrant sunflowers. Created by USA designer and illustrator Eleanor Grosch.

designer unknown- I think this is a beautiful design. I love the variation in the light size, it creates a nice flow from the top the bottom of the piece. The biggest light is close to the middle, which draws the viewers attention to the center. The background is also a very dark navy, which complements the yellow.

Everything You Wanted To Know About Fonts

Art Inspiration: Surreal Illustration by Tang Yau Hoo. This one really caught my eye. The use of negative space makes you think is this a city skyline.or just a bunch of hanging light bulbs?

While scrolling, this image captured my attention because it includes both photography and illustration. It shows a liquid splashing and pouring of someone's hand. This picture has very little color. Even though it is very simple it is also very intriguin http://hotdietpills.com/cat2/fat-loss-pills-2017-holidays-united.html

Photo Illustration 3 I chose this because the illustrated water flowing on the real hand is a cool mix between real and fake. I think we could use the simplicity of this design for inspiration.

Visual identity // Meat Bread- Vancouver by creative studio Glasfurd Walker, also based in Vancouver. The studio was approached to create a strong, masculine identity and brand design which communicates the restaurant’s simple and uncomplicated offer.

Beautiful example of editorial design. I love the balance and rhythm of the angular shapes that dance across almost each page. The designer created a pleasing shape and balance with the negative space on each spread. Designing every aspect of each page.

Editorial design has been with us for quite a long time. Magazine, newspapers and books are a good example of the importance of editorial design.
