A badass feminist MC, spaceships, and a futuristic Earth that is a little to familiar to seem entirely fictional? Yes please. If you're a fan of the Across the Universe trilogy, you'll love this novel.
I haven’t read a book this creepy, violent, or disturbing in a long time. A.M. Homes is, quite possibly, the most fearless writer I have ever read and The End of Alice is a book that is both horrifying and beautiful.
Just recently recommended to me by a friend - and I couldn't put it down. The guy is a surgeon, assistant professor at Harvard, MacArthur fellowship recipient, and staff writer for The New Yorker - beautiful writing. Highly recommend.
