For this romantic and intimate wedding in Mt. Shasta, I chose a happy color palette of yellow, white, earth-tones, and splashes of purple and fushia. Vintage rustic elements included vintage lace, antique French linen and hemp cloths, pewter containers, mason jars, apothecary bottles, and lots and lots of pretty cake platters. Wedding took place at Gilden Lodge in Mt. Shasta, CA. Photography by Karrie Ann, www.livingshastaphotography.ifp3.com

The Samson Sideboard is the ultimate storage piece. Use this as a his and hers dresser to hold lots of clothing and more. Use this distressed piece in the dining room to hold china, silver and linens all in once place. The white washed finish over recycled antique wood is the best in eco-chic home decor.

Chair frame painted in MMSMP Linen to cover the 1960’s green-ish wash, distressed and finished with a coat of Hemp Oil. upholstered chair with antique European hemp sheet. Those have become my very favorite for upholstery. I used to use drop cloth fabric a lot, but it really couldn’t stand up to pulling. The hemp sheets are tough, very durable, and the color is a little off-white, so I have found them to be very forgiving in a house with two boys.
