After catching up on pretty much an entire season of Supernatural I'd gotten behind on, I'd seen Bobby say "balls" so much that it became a constant part of my vocabulary for wayyyyy too long. And being the massive klutz that I am, I said it way too often as well. That's why this made me laugh so much.
Original pinner: "Is it too early to tell all of my friends who haven't watched 'Sherlock': "This is Benedict Cumberbatch. I loved him before Star Trek."?" Me: No. But for me--This is Sherlock Holmes, and I've loved the man on the written page for decades. He (and Jeremy Brett before him) just add more fuel to the imagination's fire.
This is my argument to everyone who doesn't watch the show and tries to tell me that Cas has fucked up (which, sadly, is kinda true) way too many times and he doesn't ever do what's best (which is most certainly not true). He faces his challenges better than most of us ever could, so don't tell me for one second that Cas isn't special, because honestly. he's portraying all of us. "Everyone is just trying to do their best in a world where it's far too easy to do your worst."
