Colorful Renovation of an Old Folding Chair: you’ll need a screwdriver, drop cloth, spray paint (2 cans per chair), fabric, scissors, a staple gun and staples. Remove the seat and place chair on drop cloth and wipe down with damp towel. Apply two coats of spray paint and let it dry overnight. Lay out new fabric and place seat cushion face down. Trace fabric along the cushion, cut and attach it using your staple gun. As the chair dries, put the new cushion and begin using!
Never has there been a more versatile piece of furniture than the pouf. It's a table, a seat and a place to rest your feet all at once, while remaining so easy to move around that it can almost earn the title of throw pillow. And the formula for what makes a pouf is so simple and adaptable — a fabric case around a variably soft core — that it lends itself well to being made from scratch by makers with even minimal DIY skills.
