From Md. I've had my share of Cream of Crab soup. This was fabulous I made it with the leftovers from a crab feast. If buying crab I suggest a local seafood market for fresh crab meat. Season the soup with Old Bay according to taste as some find 3 Tbs is a lot. It is rich, creamy and delicious.
