Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars | The Girl Who Ate Everything (Note: These have been adopted from Paula Deen's Recipe which I also have posted here. The key difference with this one is that she has increased the cream cheese filling which I wholeheartedly agree with - no offense Paula, but gotta have all that cream cheese goodness!)
The Pioneer Woman makes 36 brownies Ingredients: 1 box (18.5 oz.) German Chocolate Cake Mix (I use Duncan Hines) 1 cup chopped pecans 1/3 cup evaporated milk 1/2 cup evaporated milk (additional) 1/2 cup butter, melted 60 whole caramels, unwrapped (I use Kraft) 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Best Brownies - These brownies are magnificent!!! I mean "melt in your mouth" and I didn't even make the frosting. Word to the wise....double the recipe and put in a 9x13" pan b/c the 8x8" pan won't be enough!
