North Park Mansion is a beautiful Queen Anne styled residence located in the Melbourne suburb of Essendon. Built for Alexander McCracken in 1889, on the highest point of Essendon, it comprised 42 rooms with a large central tower and is constructed with Red Northcote bricks, sandstone, basalt and terracotta roofing tiles from Marseilles, France. The mansion is now the Australian headquarters of the St Columban's Mission.
