Last stand of the Melrose Hotel, 1957, photo courtesy of The Los Angeles Public Library. Destruction of Bunker Hill

This vintage photograph shows the construction of the Los Angeles City Hall in downtown LA, a building very recognizable to our Elite Adventure Tours guests from all the movies and television shows they have seen where the building is featured. Film crews are present at City Hall as much as any mayor in our history.
