We read the book "Growing Vegetable Soup" in class. The kids seemed really excited about growing their own vegetable soup (which would be impossible given location and time left in the school year), so we are going to take a field trip to the local grocery store and pick out all of the vegetables from the recipe. The next day we will be making the soup from the recipe. Yummy and educational!
