between shades of gray by RUTA SEPETYS. An aspect of the brutality of WWII that I never new about before reading this book. Sepetys presents a horrendous event in a thoughtful, heartfelt, creative and ultimately uplifting way. A MUST READ for everyone, especially those with an interest in the Holocaust, Stalin and/or Lithuania.
