Sesleria autumnalis (Autumn Moor Grass) - A very well behaved ornamental grass. It has bright green leaves up to 18" tall that are evergreen and retain their color well into January, or longer in mild winters, before fading to tan until spring. In late August and lasting through fall, it has little 6" tan flower spikes. Great for filling out flower beds and drought tolerant enough to be planted among tree and shrub roots. Zones 4b and warmer.
