I love the raw wood. The galvanized pipes, however, ought to be replaced with something a bit more tasteful. An angular limb from a tree could serve the same purpose, but would really bring the whole piece together. Nevertheless, the idea is commendable.
DIY pipe bookshelf. The linear spareness of this makes it beautiful but be aware that your books will rub against the wall. Notice also that the books have their spines to the back which makes their appearance much more minimal.
Up-cycled Leather Belt- cut looped & tacked to wall. You can get these wooden poles at any home improvement store in any size. A towel rack is shown here, but this project can be tweeked for several uses..for example, scarves. *note: you can use any material or style belt strong enough for what u want to hold. think of all the chic belts there are with designs, colors, animal print, floral, embroidered even. you can rlly make it look cool & match your decor.
