Strzyga- Slavic myth: people who were born with two hearts, souls, sets of teeth. when they died, one soul would move on, but one would stay behind and turn into an undead vampire-like monster. they would fly at night in the form of an owl and attack night travelers. they would suck their blood and eat their insides. Nice, friendly creatures. :)
