Library of Congress Aesop Tales Wonderful collection of Aesop's fables with narration & illustrations.

Grimm's Fairy Tales are definitely not for children! I read the the book and each and every tale is hauntingly magical, beautiful, or grotesque. I recommend this collection of fairy tales for all adults!

She hath a mark, like a violet, between her shoulders, and another like it on the instep of her left foot - Undine by de la Motte Fouqué, 1909

Arthur Rackham - this fairytale was a rather horrid one - a true old-fashioned, that is :-D - the princess was put in a tower with her maid, no doors or windows, and they started digging their way out with a table knife. When they finally got out, they saw that a war had ravished the country and everything has changed, no-one remembered even the girls...
