Library at Dar es Saada, one of two Marrakech homes owned by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Designed by Bill Willis, guru hippie designer from the 1960's - '70's who was engaged by design and social luminaries in Marrakech. He created rooms so romantically over the top that they recall tales told by Scheherazade. Constants in his design vocabulary included flamboyant tiles, billowing domes, majestic fireplaces, and the softly polished waterproof plaster known as tadelakt.
