Alexandre Bilodeau was the first Canadian to ever win a gold medal at a Canadian Olympic Games, in 2010. Bilodeau has won three gold medals at the International Ski Federation World Champion in dual moguls, and two silver medals at the Worlds in moguls. Bilodeau has won the most World Cup medals of any Canadian, although he focused on improving his own talent, rather than winning all of his competitions. Bilodeau shows us that strength and conviction can result in the highest form of reward.

Nancy Greene has skied since age 3. Greene won the skiing World Cup 14 times, was the Canadian ski champion nine times, and the United States ski champion three times. These accomplishments resulted in her two-time label of Canadian “Athlete of the Year”. Greene was appointed to the Canadian Government’s "Task Force on Sport," 1968. These victories are said to be because of Greene’s “‘go for it' attitude and her aggressive style of skiing,” something many athletes should aspire to have.

Sinclair is a determined and passionate individual. These characteristics contributed to her success as an athlete. In 2011 Canada's opening match of the World Cup against Germany, Sinclair forced her way back on the field with an obviously broken nose – only to score Canada's only goal against a dominating German side! This action won the hearts of Canadian fans as it inspired them to fight for what they are passionate about.
