"Love, love, love these whimsical spoons. These ceramic serving spoons are each one-of-a-kind and hand built in my studio. All the glazes I use are food safe, and being stoneware, they are oven safe as well." Love functional art!
John Beasley is the artist. He creates incredible ceramic tiles for Medicine Bluff Studio that you should check out! Here's the link: http://www.medicinebluffstudio.com/ I've created a number of tile ceramics projects with my students - I'd like to use Mr. Beasley's to inspire another!
This cute little bowl is hand formed by me from white earthenware clay, decorated with hand painted fine lines in black, the inside is finished off in a glorious blue crackle glaze. Use this bowl in the kitchen, as a jewellery holder or as a decorative object. All of my pieces are one of a kind, you can find slight imperfections in the bowls form and marks left by the handmade process. This is what make the piece unique, gives character and make it individual. The bowl is a irregular shape…
