Explore Enjoyed Making, Things I Made and more!

I really enjoyed making this.

It's not about being perfect... it's about loving what you create So as you know I've not been around so much this week and whilst I feel so so incredibly blessed and lucky to be able to take what I love doing to a new level I really wanted to share this imperfect picture of an imperfect piece with you tonight because I made it only because I wanted to. I made it with poundland yarn and old bits from my knitting stash it took a couple of days it has bad tension and too many holes and…

Chrysicolla Ring I have taken several silversmithing classes and enjoyed making this ring among other things. This one I shaped and polished the Chrysocolla stone which is sometimes confused with Turquoise. I Polished the stone and fit it into Solid SS ring. Forgot to SS stamp it tho. Needs to be worn and admired. 😜And because I made this- I know I spent at least 3x on the silver that went into it so your chance to save$$$. Made By Me Jewelry Rings

I absolutely love crafting. I have always enjoyed art and making things, my mum has still got a lot of the tat I made as a child and admittedly as an adult! Now that Baby D is turning into a proper…

I made a thing! ~ this is the Linden Sweatshirt by @grainlinestudio This was my first real attempt at making clothing for myself, and my first time sewing jersey fabric. Any of you seasoned sewers out there, please don't look too closely! 🙈 This thing has many flaws, but it's an actual garment I can put on my body, so I'm happy with it. I learned a lot from this and I'm sure the next thing I sew will be better 👍 I talk about this in a bit more detail on my new podcast episode which…

Some of the small pieces that I made recently, came with me to the papermaking workshops at @artinactionfestival as examples of different techniques and reminders that paper doesn't have to be perfect. It's good sometimes to see things in a different context and out of the studio. I have really enjoyed making these small pieces of work in an episodic way but I'm also interested to see that they work well together. I have some time out from workshops and commissions coming up and am going to…
