March 3, 1969, A Shau Valley, South Vietnam - U.S. Marines give plasma to a wounded Marine struck down during fighting along South Vietnam's border with Laos. American troops located an unusually large store of enemy weapons during a raid along the border.
04 Oct 1967, Corn Thien, South Vietnam --- Three Marines gently lift a badly wounded and pained buddy following a Communist bombardment of this battered hill outpost two miles south of the Demilitarized Zone. Military sources reported that the Marines, Backed by massive American firepower, have won the battle of Con Thien. The battered Communist troops massed in the DMZ were reported pulling back into North Vietnam Oct. 4th, taking their guns with them.
