Comix Zone was a late-era Mega Drive brawler developed by Sega Technical Institute. While it really pushed the system’s visual and sound capacities, the game proved to be rather short. The special CD mentioned in the advertisement differs based on your region – the PAL version has the actual original soundtrack, while the North American one has a dozen heavy metal tracks with little relation to the game.
Robert Dennis Crumb (1943) is an American cartoonist and musician who often signs his work R. Crumb. His work displays a nostalgia for American folk culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and satire of contemporary American culture. Crumb rose to prominence after the 1968 debut of Zap Comix. He compiled and illustrated the book R. Crumb's Heroes of Blues, Jazz & Country, with accompanying CD, which derived from three series of trading cards originally published in the 1980s
