With this design I won the National Gallery 'Design a Bouquet' competition! (Due to be announced Tuesday 15th Sept) These flowers all come from the Margate coastline, where Turner loved to paint. From left to right: Lady's Bedstraw, Queen Anne's Lace, Harebells, Sea Holly, Hare's Foot Clover and Meadowsweet! (tbh I really want to improve both the design and color scheme but am happy to have finished a 'draft'!)

This is such a lovely design from Threadwork Primitives and is called Bittersweet October. I have stitched this piece on a clay color linen with beautiful over dyed threads in fall colors. I have mounted it in a little wooden tray that I have painted a clay color then sanded distressed and waxed. This piece measures approx. 8 3/4 by 5 3/4. This piece would make a beautiful piece for your fall home decor. Thank you for looking! Please feel free to message me with any questions.
