Forth Road Bridge

The Forth Road Bridge, Queensferry, Edinburgh constuction began in 1958. When it was opened in 1964 it was the longest suspension bridge in Europe and the fourth longest in the world. The clearance for shipping below the centre of the bridge is 163 ft, and 150 ft near the towers.
