Iranian Royal Family (1967) ~ Mohammad Rezā Shāh Pahlavi, Shah of Iran, Shah of Persia (October 26,1919 – July 27, 1980), ruled Iran from September 16, 1941 until his overthrow by the Iranian Revolution on February 11, 1979. He was the second and last monarch of the House of Pahlavi of the Iranian monarchy.
The three-meter-high Memorial dedicated to the Czar’s children is located on the premises of the Ganina Yama church complex where the remains of the imperial family executed by the Bolsheviks were found.
THE LAST QUEEN OF HAWAII, 1891-1893“Liliʻuokalani (1838 – 1917) was the last monarch of Hawaii. She inherited the throne from her brother Kalākaua on 29 January 1891. The Queen was deposed on 17 January 1893 and temporarily relinquished her throne to “the superior military forces of the United States”. She had hoped the United States, like Great Britain earlier in Hawaiian history, would restore Hawaii’s sovereignty to the rightful holder.
“Stagecoach” Mary Fields (c. 1832-1914) was born a slave in Tennessee and following the Civil War, she moved to the pioneer community of Cascade, Montana. In 1895, when she was around 60 years old, Fields became the second woman and first African American carrier for the US Postal Service.
