Sunshine Skyway Bridge, St. Petersburg, FL Pretty to look at, but a horror to be on (and I do not have a fear of bridges). If the wind is blowing too hard they close the thing down because it sways so much. Then there's the joy of seeing the old collapsed bridge right next to it. Min
An aerial of the Sunshine Skyway, on the Gulf coast of Florida. This bridge spans Tampa Bay with a total length of 4.1 miles. It has been rated number 3 of the top 10 bridges in the world. Because of its height above the emerald green Gulf waters, length of continuous travel, location in "the south" and modern architectural design, it is a popular spot for filming automobile commercials.
