Yeah, the controls could use a little refining, and it's not the deepest game around. But Wraithborne is a fun way to kill some time on your iOS device bashing monsters with a hammer and blowing them up with rune magic.
Who says you can't have style and substance together in your iOS game? Not White Whale Games, that's for sure, as they've blended classic side-scrolling action and a deep, trippy atmosphere together to make God of Blades.
Five guys in their 40s doing the crotch chop? Check. Lots of other returning WWE stars? Double check. Plus tons of product placement, some surprise plot twists, and, oh yeah, a few wrestling matches. All on the 1000th episode of Raw, which I've recapped here.
