I love swiss steak that you can cut with a fork. This recipe can be made in the oven, in a crock pot or on top of the stove depending on how low or slow you cook it. You know it's done when you can "cut it with a fork"
Crockpot Swiss steak.... Best ever!! Instead of using canned & fresh tomatoes, I just used a total of one can diced and one can stewed tomatoes. I also used cube steak (pack of 4)-- so tender it melts in your mouth. We served it over pasta (penne). We eat it the first day, then put leftover pasta and meal in container for another night later in the week.
