Madron Well, near St. Ives, Cornwall, and sacred spring of the Romano-British goddess of healing, Matrona. Over the spring is a willow "ragging" tree where people hang "clouties" or shreds of cloth and ribbons as tokens of thanks or requests for help from the goddess.
England - Cornwall - St. Ives. is a harbor town and resort, on the North Cornish Coast. The colourful Mediterranean atmosphere, maze of cobbled streets and jumble of fishermens cottages blend with an eclectic selection of shops, galleries and studios around the picturesque, working harbor.
