1999-2002: I worked as a Hospitality Consultant for The Insight Group International, an investigative consulting firm. I led teams that evaluated guest service standards and cash handling controls at hotels nationwide and abroad.

Their mission: to tell truths that are unspoken, reveal worlds that are unvisited, connect to a larger world that looms unknown and out of reach, and bring it closer. They achieve this mission through innovative art, theatre and film.

The Life Group LA is a compassionate organization that provides empowering support for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. I volunteer as a group facilitator at their extraordinary weekend seminars.

2002-2005: I wore many hats at LA Shanti Foundation, a health services nonprofit. As Program Coordinator, I developed curricula for interactive-style communication skills workshops. I designed promotional strategies to expand program visibility, increasing enrollment by 55% within nine months. As Volunteer & Communications Manager, I trained and managed 300 volunteers, in addition to directing fundraising event logistics: writing press releases, securing sponsorship and booking talent.
