IJN light cruiser Tenryu (天龍) lead ship of her Tenryu Class. In reality the two ships of this class were only overlarge destroyers and were intended to be Destoyer Flotilla Leaders, modestly armed with 4x14cms,1x8cm Guns &6x21" Tubes. Tenryu was built by Yokosuka Naval Arsenal being commissioned on November 20, 1919. Modernized in 1940, during the fighting around Guadalcanal Tenyru was torpedoed and sunk by submarine,USS Albacore on December 19, 1942.
