Cartier Paris, special order, 1948 This brooch was made by special order in 1948. The client provided the emerald-cut diamond, the two square-cut diamonds as well as the fancy-cut and baguette-cut diamonds. Cartier supplied the round-cut diamonds. The exceptional dimension (20.20 cm long, weighing 156.45g) makes this brooch a unique post-war piece of high jewellery.
