Nakamichi Dragon Cassette Deck -Really what more is there to say.... It's the Dragon. The most technically advanced cassette deck ever made. I sold lots of them in their day even though they were over $3,000 back in the 80's. I never owned one because I got a great deal on 681ZX with rack mount handles. It looked great in my rack next to my Bryston amp.

The first boombox was developed by the inventor of the audio compact cassette Philips of the Netherlands. Their first 'Radiorecorder' was released in 1966. The Philips innovation was the first time that radio broadcasts could be recorded onto cassette tapes without the cables or microphones that previous stand-alone cassette tape recorders required. by _skratch http://ift.tt/1HNGVsC
