Chicken Soup in a jar - 2 T. dried minced onion, 2T. chicken bouillon granules, 2t. dried celery, 1t. pepper, 4 C. wide egg noodles. TAG: 2 5 oz. cans of chicken. Add 10 cups of water, bring to a boil, add jar mix, chicken (breaking up with a fork), bring to a boil, lower heat, simmer for 20-30 minutes. Pack into a jar with the spices at the bottom.
This is a great soup to make to have on the shelf or to give to those who are sick. It is a great way to serve and help others even in your own family. Great way to use those jars between canning too! ;)
